What changed
In July 2026 the Indian Consulate said BLS International and SGIVS Global are no longer authorised to provide consular services. Passport renewals now go through an appointment with the Consulate General in Dubai or the Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
How to book
- Fill in the passport renewal form online and print it.
- Go to book.passportindiauae.com, register with your name and email, and verify the email.
- Log in and choose your jurisdiction: Dubai (Consulate) or Abu Dhabi (Embassy).
- Pick a slot and confirm. Bring the printed form and your current passport to the appointment.
Plan early
- Many countries need six months of passport validity to travel, and slots can be booked weeks ahead.
- Your UAE visa and Emirates ID are linked to your passport — after you get the new one, update your details with ICP or GDRFA.
- Check the Consulate website for the current fees before you go.
